In modern versions of the iOS operating system, Apple have significantly increased the amount of control users have over what components of a device an app can use. Unfortunately, this can lead to confusion when permissions to critical components, such as Bluetooth, are denied to an app. In the event the Swift Command app has its access to Bluetooth denied, tapping the Control Panel button will result in the pop-up shown above. In the event you face this issue, please follow the following steps.
1. Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled System Wide
In the system Settings app, ensure that the Bluetooth status displays ‘On’. If it does not, tap to enter the Bluetooth settings page and set the Bluetooth toggle to the on position.
2. Ensure Bluetooth Permissions are Granted
In the system Settings app, scroll to the list of your installed apps at the bottom and locate the entry for Swift Command. Tap the entry to view the permissions page for the Swift Command 2019 app.
If Bluetooth permissions have been denied to the Swift Command app, this page on your device will display as not enabled. Please toggle the switch on the Bluetooth entry to grant permission to the app, so the background of the slider is green.
Now return to the Swift Command app. If you have an established pairing with your Swift Control Panel, tapping the Control Panel icon will allow you to connect. If you are yet to pair, tapping the icon should bring up the pop-up shown below.
