The battery current reading seems incorrect on my EC700 / EC800 control panel.

The battery current reading seems incorrect on my EC700 / EC800 control panel.

If the battery current reading seems incorrect on any of the listed control panels, you may need to calibrate the current sensor in the PSU to the control panel in order to get a true reading.

Ensure the mains charger is switched off at the EC700/EC800 PSU.  If you are not on mains hook up this isn't necessary.

Turn on the control panel either by pressing the power button at the side of the screen (for Swift vehicles) or by touching the screen (all other EC700 equipped vehicles).

Press and hold the system settings button (the cog symbol) to go into the advanced settings screen, then press the arrow button to go to page 2.

Press the button marked "Calibrate"

A popup will appear for you to confirm that the power will go off in the van whilst calibrating.
Accept the popup and the current sensor will calibrate.

Once power is back on you can access the current reading in the usual manner.

The reading should now be correct.
