Flexible Solar Panels

Flexible Solar Panels

Overview

This range of flexible solar panels is ideally suited to leisure applications, with their low profile, flexible construction and high power output. The panels can keep leisure batteries topped up during outdoor storage, as well as providing usable power during the day. The panels consist of a robust multi-layer construction with a durable ETFE outer layer to protect the monocrystalline solar cells. To aid rapid installation, panel connections are compatible with the Sargent solar regulator range.

Features

  1. Output power available from 100 to 160 watts
  2. Robust multi-layer construction - with ETFE film coating
  3. Up to 20 degree flexibility - for mounting onto curved surfaces
  4. 50-60% weight saving - compared to metal framed panels
  5. Wafer thin 2mm profile - provides discrete fitment with low drag
  6. LED power indicator - confirms panel is producing energy
  7. 10 year output warranty - with 20 year typical life
  8. IP67 waterproof junction box - with fast-fit connector

Fitting

You will need to purchase a suitable adhesive to fix the solar panel to the vehicle roof. We recommend a polyurethane adhesive sealant such as PU40 or Sikaflex 221
Please always check and follow the application notes provided with the adhesive.

Maintenance & Cleaning

The solar panel will require cleaning periodically in order to maintain the performance of the panel. A caravan or car shampoo or simple soap can be used, but do not use abrasive cleaners.
