C44 and C44+ Road Light Fuse Boxes

C44 Fuse Box

Overview

This small unit (135mm x 135mm) houses fuses for the road lighting circuits and supplies from the tow vehicle, and also has connectors for an AS310 /AS350 alarm and Automatic Trailer Control
(ATC) unit.

It was introduced into all Swift Group caravans in 2010 and used until the phased replacement by the C44+ version in 2018 for some models and all models from 2019 onwards. This unit was also used in Lunar Delta and Clubman models from 2014 to 2019.

If you are experiencing problems with your road lights, for example dimly flashing lights or a dashboard lights failure warning then you may need a VLM unit (LED road light electronic control unit). We originally manufactured a range of VLM4 units, but these have now been superceded by one newer VLM6 unit. See further below for the VLM6 details and installation instructions.

C44+ Fuse Box

Overview

This is a Swift Group only product.

The C44+ was introduced into some Swift Group caravans in 2018 and is fitted to all models built from 2019 onwards. It uses the same fuse box PCB as the C44 but fitted to a larger metal front panel (238mm x 135mm). Connectivity for both versions is the same, and is shown in the attached document.

If you are experiencing problems with your road lights, for example dimly flashing lights or a dashboard lights failure warning then you may need a VLM6 (LED road light electronic control unit).
